Taika upcycled denim dress

The Taika recycled denim dress is a sheath dress made from 100% upcycled jeans. It features a striking metal zipper at the back and 3/4-length sleeves made from flexible stretch material. The unique twist of the Taika dress is an original denim pocket, which is different on every single piece. The dress is unlined and includes a back slit, as well as a decorative puller to make the zipper easier to fasten.

This Taika dress is made using matching light-colored jeans. The dress is unique, as it is crafted from reclaimed textiles. Because of this, the color shades may vary between individual dresses.

The model in the photo is wearing a size M (38/40). She is 164 cm tall with a bust of 95 cm, a waist of 77 cm, and a hip measurement of 100,5 cm. The dress in the photo has a slightly loose fit on her.

Choose the correct size and measure yourself according to the size chart.

The product’s fit is influenced by the elasticity and thickness of the material. Denim fabrics vary; some jeans have more stretch than others. For this reason, the recycled material chosen for each denim dress varies from piece to piece. The dress consists of 22 parts, and approximately 7–8 pairs of jeans are needed for a single dress. Only the best parts of the jeans are selected for Taika recycled denim dresses!

The dress can be machine washed at 40°C, ironed at a maximum of 150°C, and dry cleaned. Do not tumble dry. The product includes care instructions and has been awarded the Key Flag Symbol (Avainlippu) for Finnish origin.
